shopping in bulk is fun. my grandma took melanie and i to costco today, where we proceeded to spend over $200. i dont think we will have to buy anymore paper towel until 2007. or soap, or kraft dinner, or apple juice, and basically anything else that comes in a box. we are set. we managed to successfully avoid the candy aisle, because 2 pounds of chocolate covered almonds would probably leave us both in a sugar coma, as there would be no way of keeping us from consuming it all in 24 hours. theres just no will power there.

and so begins my blogging from my new condo. it is so pretty. bestest condo ever. yep yep. my room is seriously twice the size of my old one, i can actually walk between my desk and bed without having to move my chair out of the way, its awesome. and it is amazing how much better my stuff looks when the wall isnt the ugliest color of green ever. i love it. squee. i will have to take some pictures when i am all done setting up, which may take a while since its so freaking hot out every time i move i start sweating, my little fan just isnt cutting it.

ashleigh didnt even say bye to me this morning, kind of weird. she read a certain conversation between me and a certain boy that i left open yesterday and made some assumptions, and when i denied it she thought i was lying and just walked out. oh well, cant get me down, because im freeee!!! so god damn relieved that i dont have to deal with her anymore, you have no idea. no more rap music blaring at 7 in the morning, no barging into my room unannounced, no more shoving her baby on me when im busy just so she can eat her lunch (because she cant just put him down you know.), no more telling me what to do with my life, just no more. best day ever.

my dad got here yesterday, and so far he has bought me my paint for the new house, a bike, and a ps2. i think im spoiled? slightly. although i had full intentions of paying for the ps2 by myself, i wasnt going to complain if he wanted to. he made a list of things we are going to do when he's here, pretty funny, its like a page long so now we have to be a schedule. tomorrow we are going golfing in the morning, shopping during the day and then going to see the da vinci code at night, dope. ass. i cant wait to see that movie, ive wanted to see it since it came out but no one would go with me, and since my dad is the one who gave me the book to read in the first place i feel it is quite fitting that he take me.

ive been on the lumos waiting list since it sold out, and the other day i got an email saying a spot was open, so of course i jumped right on that, paid today, everything is setttt. i was a little hesitant at first but now im like omgimgoingtovegas. would be better if i was 21 but oh well, it will still be fun times. how could it not be, i get to see my favorite ben schoen.

3 days! i think i may explode in a mess of excitement before i get there.
