mini road trip part 2 complete. southern alberta style this time. went to jasper, drove through the mountains all night, it was pretty. saw some elk and stuff, and drove way too fast through the national park, fun times. then spent the next day driving through fields. and more fields. no, not so pretty. and very very hot.

going to look at threeee condos tomorrow, gonna be busy. hope to god we actually like one, and can successfully obtain it. as i cant wait to get out of here. listening to people yell all day is just a great way to pass the time, i swear, try it sometime, you'll love it.

yeah.. i have nothing to say.. but Suraj said i should update, and he's cooler than you. so i did. thats all.

Just got back from a mini road trip of sorts. Melanie had to do some mystery shopping jobs all over Alberta so I told her I'd go with her. We stayed overnight in this place called Athabasca. Shittiest town ever pretty much. We got there at like 6, checked into the hotel, left to find something to eat, drove around for a good 15 minutes, not a singleeee restaurant was open, what. the. hell. So we ended up back at the hotel at A&W, the only place open, where we saw this sign. I found it highly amusing We then watched about 5 episodes of what I assume was an Oblivious marathon, but inevitably got bored of that, so decided to go harass some locals. Could have been fun if we FOUND any. All we came up with was the guy working at the gas station and one guy on a bike. Oh, and a cop. Melanie ran a bunch of stop signs, he happened to see one of them, she talked her way out of it. So we headed back to the hotel and decided to talk to the girl at the desk, she was blonde and looked perky so we thought she would be fairly entertaining... or not. She was fond of the one word answers and was glued to her msn. But it just so happens that boy on the bike was her friend and decided to stop by, and refered to us as the ladies from the Tempo (gas station). Exciting night, right? Note to self, never move to Athabasca.

Mini eggs are the work of the devil. It's a damn good thing they're not sold year round or I'd probably be a good 10 pounds heavier. Every time I go to the store they stare me down until I give in. Tasty little buggers.

Onto my housing situation... have looked at 3 condos so far with Melanie, think we found a winner. Her dad is coming down to look at it on saturday, so if he likes it, we're good to go. I have to say im pretty damn excited. I was bummed at first, but now the prospect of having a place that is half mine seems like a much better situation than living in a room in my sister's house. Ashleigh and I got in a fight last night, basically she is ashamed to be related to me because I wouldn't work at her store for free all day today. I said no to working, she said fine, you're helping me clean the house all day, I said fine, better than the store, she says no, I don't believe you will actually clean and that she never should have invited me to live with her, so I say fuck you and hang up then proceeded to spend an hour cleaning her disaster of a kitchen, scraping her week old dishes was fun I tell you. So she came home to that surprise and I haven't heard a word about our little phone altercation since. Take that.

I am hoping she has long forgotten about this site and isn't reading this.. then again.. it could be funny if she did.
