dude. i totally suck at this. but... insipred.

usually my quarterly update would come with a new layout but you take what you can get. i really should have had a post about my first first day of school. tough shit i guess. so here is a post about my first day of second semester. kinda the same?

my first day should have been last thursday but seeing as i was coming off a healthy week of mcdonalds, alcohol, and minimal sleep, i thought grandmas house was a better option. i was right. she made me soup and stuff.

anyways. school.. yes.

i hate how i stress out about the most retarded things. like today i was worried that since i missed the first computer class that i wouldnt have a login or i would need some special book that i didnt have yet. lame, i know. but i walk in the classroom, and theres not even any computers! all we did was take notes by hand. i think theyre missing the point. we only get to actually touch computers once a week. because thats how learning happens. on the upside, we had a substitute today because our normal teacher is currently at macworld. uh huh. you know you wish you were him. he got to see the iphone!!! apparently hes some mac super pro. so when he gets back im definitely busting out the macbook to take notes, and put my plan into motion to become his new favorite student.

i think im actually going to like my econ teacher this year. when i walked into the room he had the theme song from csi playing. apparently every day we get a song to get us all super jazzed for economics, i just hope his song selection improves. he then spent the rest of the class trying to compare economics to real life in funny ways, which wasnt really working for him... which made it completely hilarious. he said the supply and demand curves have a fever of 105.... silence. what happens when you have a fever of 105 he asks... brain damage? yes.. but what else? uhh.. sweating?? no... shivering! he then began shaking uncontrollably to demonstrate. it was an excellent waste of 5 minutes.

i will eternally suck at blogging. this always happens. i blog like crazy for a while and then disappear for months. why? no reason at all. other than pure laziness. so for the next time this happens (and it will) i apologize in advance

what have i been doing this whole time? the highlights... going to my cabin. getting drunk for the first time in my life. about time, yes? going to vegas, getting drunk again, do i sense a pattern? had to go home, got depressed, went to cabin to drown my sorrows.. in alcohol. my mom came to visit! yay! first time in 8 months.. she really needs to get out more. got a macbook, then proceeded to drop my macbook and had a minor stroke. and now, here i sit, on my macbook.

as for the more recent past, yesterday i went with melanie and some friends to the horse races, where i placed a bet for the first time, and won! only about $35, but still, i won! but after dinner, movies, and mass amounts of ice cream and chocolate im about even. we went to the park at like 2am, which i havent done in a very long time, and have to do more often. there were no swings, which was highly disappointing, there were however some monkey bars, which stu tried to get fancy on and ended up doing a face plant in the sand. melanie and i were laughing our asses off, which really isnt very nice, but can you really help it when someone gets a face full of sand? no, you cant.

today was melanies birthday, i made her a cake, it was pretty dope. it was a heart shape and had smarties all over it, and i think we ate about a third of the entire cake already. i dont think its going to last too long in this house. picture here.

i was like super housewife style today, first i made a cake, and then my grandma came over and taught me how to make her meat pies. they came out pretty darn good if i do say so myself. she also gave me like 4 other recipes of hers, so now im set for a while.

oilers just won the 5th game of the series. helllllls yes. so excited. i was all prepared for them to lose and for it to be over, but no, they pull through. thanks to ben schoen. and now i get to lose another 5 years off my life on saturday. overtime kills me. they better win it.
